Well folks, we did it. On Sunday Maddie and I completed the 3M Half Marathon. I won't say it was pretty, but it was great. We finished in 2 hours, 11 minutes. We've got the medals, photos, and complimentary post-it notes to prove it.
Many thanks to our fabulous friends & loved ones who drove us, cheered us, and ate recovery tacos with us.
Miles: 13.1

Congratulations, y'all! Hopefully, next year we will be there for the post race tacos, yeehaw!
It's very pretty statistically - we finished with the average time for women, with a 10.02 minute/mile overall pace, and we ran the second split slightly faster than the first - textbook! Of course we'll see how it goes in February when the course is not 50% downhill. And I just want to echo LC's thanks to all of our awesome friends who got up early and cheered, it makes such a difference by mile 9.5!
congratulations! you rock!
and i think those wristband tape dispensers rock.
